Those slip-on flanges are used for dyeing and printing machinery. Slip-on flanges, also known as ‘hubbed flanges’, have a hub with a very low profile. This type of flange is usually connected to a pipe by one or two fillet welds (one outside the flange and one inside the flange), it is however possible to use only a single weld. Slip-on flanges are produced in many sizes and favoured for lower pressure applications (ASME class ≤ 600).

The slip-on flange could be divided several different types,slip-on plate flange,slip-on hub flange,socket-weld slip on flange etc.The slip on plate flange is just like a ring with bolt holes,the slip on hub flange is like a plate flange with a neck or hub,the cost is higher than the slip on plate flange,but it can supply a better joint quality and reinforcement.The socket weld slip on flange is also call socket weld flange,this kind of flange just need one fillet welding to connect the pipe.

This large diameter flange is used for pressure vessel. Pressure vessel flange is a common connection part of pressure vessel,and it is the basic component connecting various pressure vessel parts and pipelines. Pressure vessel flange is widely used in petrochemical,electric power,atomic energy,light industry and other modern industrial fields. The flange of high pressure vessel is a set of components,including flange,gasket,matching studs and nuts. The function of flange is to ensure that the connection parts do not leak, so that different vessels or pipes are combined together. Operating principle of pressure vessel flange: the overall sealing performance is the priority factor in the design and selection of vessel flange. When the flange bolts are tightened, the bolt pressure compresses the gasket through the flange ring, and the pressure forces the gasket to produce compression deformation. With the increase of bolt force, the flange sealing surface and sealing gasket are closely combined to prevent the leakage of fluid medium and create the initial sealing environment.

Compared to the ever-used radial drilling machine, the CNCs we used dramatically increase productivity.

Firstly, no need to draw lines to mark the position of the holes.

Secondly, multi-holes can be drilled at the same time, rather than one by one.

Thirdly, one operator can take care of four CNCs.

High productivity means low cost, the large array of CNCs can meet the different scale of jobs. HP Feederwater Heater Component Machining For Power Plant

HP Heater component

HP Heater(feeder water heater) is an important equipment ofpower plant regenerative system. Tube sheet, tubes, shells are the main components of HP heater. Due to its harsh working environment, the erosion and erosion of steam water can easily cause the corrosion of the burst pipe and the surfacing layer of the tube sheet. In order to solve this problem, the customer designed and developed the header(kind of Integrated tube sheet) instead of the tube sheet.The new developed component is what manufactured.

There are 6 sets of the components, We use pama130, pama160, Mitsubishi floor boring machine for synchronous processing to ensure the processing progress. The structure of the component is complex. The blank is a forging cylinder with an outer diameter of 1m, an inner diameter of 700mm and a height of 3m. More than 1900 bosses with a diameter of 25 mm are irregularly distributed on the outer surface of the workpiece. Each boss needs to be drilled through a 10 times diameter through hole, and the hole diameter accuracy and roughness have high requirements. The wall thickness between the boss and the pupil is only 4mm, and the accuracy of the wall thicknesses of each hole is less than 0.1mm. Faced with the problem that the workpiece has many bosses and irregular distribution, thin wall thickness and large machining allowance, it is easy to cause stress deformation. We use the overall small cutting amount and fast feed processing method to control the overall stress deformation problem. and purchasing custom-made tools to ensure the technical requirements of hole diameter and hole wall accuracy.
At present, we've finished two sets, The customer is very satisfied with the quality of the product through inspection and has placed an order for 8 more sets of this product.

16th Nov, we successfully finished wind turbine's hub machining job for American GE company.This hus is used for a 6MW ocean wind turbine project, now the first set of finished products have been shipped.
GE Wind Energy was a branch of GE Energy, a subsidiary of General Electric. The company manufactures and sells wind turbines to the international market.
This hub is the wind turbine's core component to connect turbine blade and main shaft, the structure is complex, the volume is big, and the weight is up to 40 tons.Due to the irregular shape of the turbine hub, we use our Italy Pama floor type boring and milling machining center together with universal joint to achieve multiangle machining.

This steel Yankee cylinder with size up to 6.2 meters in length by 5.6 meters in width by 5.9 meters in height is being machined at shop by utilizing WZ double column vertical turning and milling machine, which has a maximum machining capacity of 12.5 meters in diameter, 6000mm in height, and 400 tons in loading weight. The Yankee dryer was designed by a leading world-known tissue machine supplier, who tells that it will be exported to Portugal.
